Resident fee for 2027 – £1210 which includes tuition, accommodation, the York day trip and all meals except for lunch on the York trip. (Apart from the 1-week teachers’ courses which are £650, including staying for as much of the middle weekend as you like).
Non-resident fee for 2027 – £600 (apart from the 1-week teachers’ courses which are £300). This covers tuition, the York trip, access to the lunchtime grammar clinics and evening lectures if desired.
Non-residents may bring their own packed meals onto the site and/or they have the option to eat with us for roughly £150 per meal, e. g. £150 for all the lunches throughout Camp. (Exact cost to be announced nearer the time.) The fee for any remote-only places will be in the region of £500, though there are no current plans to offer this for the coming summer.
We ask that tuition is paid within six weeks of acceptance though extensions may be granted to people with financial difficulties. (The acceptance email gives details on how to make payment.)
Early application is recommended as space is limited and last year’s summer school was over-subscribed.
Those who are interested in the Summer School but who have significant financial problems may also request a bursary application form – please email Director David Stephenson on director.latincamp@gmail.com for this. Each year several bursaries are awarded though we do ask that you investigate possible funding from your school and/or university first. Bursaries take the form of a reduction in the fee you pay and it should be noted that we cannot under any circumstances subsidise people’s travelling expenses.
