Resident fee for 2021 – £830 (apart from the 1-week teachers’ courses which are £400). This covers tuition, meals, accommodation and the York trip.
Non-resident fee for 2020 – £350 (apart from the 1-week teachers’ courses which are £200). This covers tuition, access to the lunchtime grammar clinics and evening lectures if desired. Non-residents may bring their own packed meals onto the site and/or they have the option to eat with us on a “pay as you go” basis per-meal. (Exact cost to be announced nearer the time.) The fee for any remote-only places will be in the region of £350.
We ask that tuition is paid within six weeks of acceptance though extensions have been granted to people with financial difficulties. (The acceptance email gives details on how to make payment.)
Early application is recommended as space is limited and last year’s summer school was over-subscribed.
Those who are interested in the Summer School but who have significant financial problems may also request a bursary application form – please email Director David Stephenson on firstname.lastname@example.org for this. Each year several bursaries are awarded but we expect you to request funds from your school, university and/or LEA first.
